Benefits of Meditation

The benefits of meditation are endless. Meditation in its' many forms allows the ego mind to drop away, providing direct access to awareness (happiness, pure love).
Relaxed Body - for successful meditation the body needs to feel safe and relaxed. This is why it is recommended to find a quiet spot in your home where you can sit (or lie down) undisturbed for at least 10 minutes morning and evening.
Separation from the Mind - once you feel safe and relaxed you are able to focus within. This is the perfect time to see the mind and its' behaviours more clearly. You can practice watching the mind (thoughts) from the space of awareness (your true self).
Spirit/Inspiration - when in a deep meditative state we are able to focus on the limitless energy of awareness. Fresh inspired thoughts and feelings of connection and peace begin to arise.
More Joy in life - Once your meditation is complete you will find that the peace follows you all day. Our bodies stress response (fight and flight energy) has been given the opportunity to calm and we are able to see our life situations with better clarity. We are able to make better decisions.
